Our Story
GS Fiber was founded in 1977 by Gungor Solmaz. Hickory Springs acquired the operation in 1986 forming the HS Fiber Division. For more than 40 years HS Fibers has been a leading manufacturer of non-woven fiber products with an expertise to deliver a broad range of solutions to the home furnishings, bedding, crafts, and automotive markets.
Regency Fibers acquired the HS Fiber Division from HSM in November 2019. With the acquisition, Regency Fibers aims to carry on the tradition and grow the business through strategic investment and a leadership team of home furnishings industry veterans.

Jay Bush - President
Jay has been leading Regency Fibers as President since 2019, driving growth and enhancing operational excellence within the home furnishings industry.
With a strong background in engineering and project management, Jay has effectively introduced systems and processes that have optimized labor efficiency and operational performance.
His extensive experience includes a proven track record in process improvement and new product development, reflecting his strategic vision and leadership capabilities.
Jay holds an MBA focusing in Operations and Business Analytics from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.
Monte Lovelace - Dir. of Sales
Monte brings nearly three decades of experience in the home furnishings industry, with a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
He spent over 20 years as a Sales Manager at Hickory Springs, where he honed his expertise in the industry and developed a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
Since joining Regency Fibers three years ago, Monte has been instrumental in driving sales growth, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge and customer-focused approach.
Monte is known for his ability to create tailored solutions for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
His leadership in the sales department has been marked by strategic insights and a commitment to delivering value to both customers and the company.
Phil McIntosh - Plant Manager
Phil brings extensive experience in optimizing manufacturing operations and enhancing productivity.
